The Power Of PanoRiders
A lot of agents that I work with have asked me about this PanoRider item that I have been talking up for a while now, and what it's purpose is in conjunction with our virtual tours - so I thought I'd take a minute and explain just how powerful a sales tool it can be. The PanoRider is a 8" x 24" white PVC plastic rider sign that has two holes drilled at the top and bottom, so the agent or broker can attach it to their existing sign at the listed property. However, this Real Tour Vision rider shows a full 360° panoramic image in full color on both sides, as well as an image of a camera and the words "virtual tour" on it, to let all those who pass by know that the listing has a virtual tour. Now, what makes the PanoRider so unique is that it can be customized in big, bold letters a unique website for the property, such as 1234AnywhereStreet .com, which we secure and host for a year. The key selling points here are twofold. First, prospective home buyers driving around can very easily remember the property website (since it's the address), and when they get home they can hop online and view the virtual tour for that listing, as the unique web address will point them directly to the tour and the agent's contact information. Second - and maybe just as important - it's a VERY powerful referral tool to gain new listings. Let's say that a few prospective sellers are out walking or driving around their neighborhood to see what's for sale or to check out pricing in their area, and they see a property listed that has a PanoRider attached to the agents sign. These buyers will naturally go and view the virtual tour to get info on the home, and once they see that you are an agent that utilizes cutting-edge online marketing tools, you'll most likely pick up a new client and listing. I've seen it happen - a lot. Now, some agents have asked, "what will I do with the PanoRider after the home sells"? After all, it has a unique web address set up for that particular listing, so it can't be re-used at another property. This is a very true and valid point. Well, while the unique address carries a lot of weight, we can just as easily set up the PanoRider with your website address, such as YourAgentSite .com (where links to your virtual tours will be). That way, you can re-use them more than once at other listings and get the same effect. The bottom line is that PanoRiders are a very powerful marketing tool that will drive traffic to your virtual tours, get your listings seen a lot more and help them sell faster, AND gain you some new clients.
